What people ask before they buy
Is it free?
No. The one event pass is $79, paid once, and there is no subscription. A few QR code apps have a free tier: Wedibox stops at 50 uploads, Kululu at 100 and deletes them after 7 days. Fine for an engagement party. A wedding sends you hundreds, so the pass holds up to 2,000 photos and videos and reads every one of them.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code and the page opens in their phone's browser. They can type their name or skip it, pick photos and videos, and watch each one upload. No account, no password, nothing to install. The page is in English and Spanish.
How many guests can upload?
The QR code has no guest count. Everyone at the wedding can scan it. The pass also lets you add up to 150 people by email, who get the iPhone app and the dashboard; for a wedding that is usually the two of you and whoever is helping.
How long do we have?
Uploads open the moment the first photo arrives, not when you pay, and stay open for three months. So you can buy it the week the invitations go out and still catch the photos people send after the honeymoon. Everything stays viewable and downloadable for 12 months from the day uploads open.
Does it handle video, or just photos?
Both. The best man's toast and the four seconds of your grandmother laughing get described the same way the photos do, so you can find them later.
Who can see our photos?
Anyone with the QR code can see and search the gallery on their phone, which is what keeps people uploading. You decide how open that is: hide any photo with one tap and it is gone for guests right away, turn on approval so nothing shows until you have seen it, or switch the gallery off and keep the code upload-only. The page is not listed anywhere and search engines are told not to index it.
