Four hundred photos get taken. Eleven come back.

Team Capture closes that gap by collecting what everyone already has on their phone, while the event is still happening, at the size it was actually taken.

The sequence

Four things happen. Two need a person, two look after themselves.

Somebody sets the album up beforehand, and somebody picks the photos to send. From there the queueing, the uploading and the filing happen on their own.

  1. 01 · Before the event

    Make the album and invite the people who will be there.

    An album is one event: a launch, a game day, a tasting. You create a join code in the dashboard and hand it to the staff who will be on site — one code can cover the whole crew. They install the app once, enter the code, and they are in your workspace from then on, so the next event costs nobody anything.

  2. 02 · During the event

    Everyone sends what they take, without leaving the night to do it.

    Most people pick from their camera roll or share straight to Team Capture from Photos, because that is where the good shots already are. Some shoot inside the app. Either way it takes seconds and nobody has to remember an email address.

  3. 03 · Still during the event

    No signal is not a problem.

    Venues are basements, stadiums and tents. The app takes the file immediately and holds it on the phone, then uploads when the phone finds a connection — on the walk out, in the car, back at the hotel. Nobody has to babysit a progress bar.

  4. 04 · After the event

    The person who needs the photos already has them.

    Everything lands in one album, full resolution, in the dashboard, each photo with an automatically corrected copy beside the version you uploaded. Tag it, approve it, and export what you need at the size it was taken. No chasing, no zip files in six inboxes, no asking somebody to re-send it larger.

Both halves

The app is for the people at the event.

It does one thing and it does it in seconds, because everyone using it is also doing their actual job. Pick, send, get back to work. It holds files when there is no signal and finishes on its own later.

The dashboard is for the person who needs the photos.

Every album in one place, at full resolution, with who uploaded what and when. Filter by what has been approved, tag it, approve it, and export a selection of up to sixty items. This is the half that replaces the chasing.

What people ask before they try it

What do the staff have to learn?
How to open an app and pick photos. There is no shot list to fill in, no form, no naming convention. The whole design assumes the person holding the phone is working the event, not documenting it.
Does it upload my whole camera roll?
No. Nothing leaves the phone on its own. The app takes only the items somebody chose, or the ones recorded inside it, and it does not read the library in the background.
What resolution do we get?
Full resolution — the original dimensions, not a squeezed copy. A photo that arrives through a group chat has usually been compressed to around a hundred kilobytes, which is fine on a phone screen and unusable the moment somebody wants it large. Files keep the format they arrived in, so an iPhone photo saved as HEIC is stored as HEIC at full size. Worth knowing if what you do next needs a JPEG, because HEIC does not open everywhere.
Who can see what?
Anything in an album is visible to the workspace. Anything not in an album is visible only to the person who uploaded it and to the owner and admins. Those rules are enforced in the database itself, not just in the app. The Security page covers this properly.
What happens when somebody leaves the team?
Their access ends immediately for anything they ask for afterwards, though a media link their app had already opened keeps working until it expires — five minutes for a photo, up to four hours for a video. The media they captured for the organisation stays in the organisation’s workspace, the same way work produced for an employer stays with the employer.
What does the correction actually do?
It fixes exposure and contrast, and puts back the definition a phone camera flattens out — the things that leave a function room looking murky and faces lost in it. Out of the box it leaves colour alone entirely: brightness and colour are handled as separate properties, so opening a photo up cannot shift anyone's skin tone. A brand that wants a warmer, more saturated look can ask for one when they set up, and that is the only way colour moves. It runs on every photo, at full resolution, and the version you uploaded is always kept beside it, untouched by the correction.
Video too?
Yes, and it works on every workspace today. Video is where the compression problem is worst, so it is also where full-resolution originals matter most.
