GuestPix alternative
A cheaper gallery. Ours reads the photos.
GuestPix does the basic job well and it is inexpensive. If all you want is somewhere for guests to drop their photos, it is a fair choice. The difference shows up the week after the wedding, when you are trying to find one specific shot out of nine hundred of them.
Being fair about it
GuestPix is cheap, and we are not pretending otherwise.
Their Classic plan is $49, one time, for unlimited guests and unlimited photos and video, with a 3-month upload window and 12 months of hosting from the event date. That is $30 under our pass. If your only need is a place for photos to land, GuestPix does that job for less.
They bundle in more wedding-planning extras than we do.
A digital invite with RSVP tracking, a written and video guestbook, a live slideshow for a screen at the venue, and access to more than 180 Canva templates for signage and table cards all come with the same purchase. We collect and describe your photos. We do not do guestbooks, invitations or a slideshow yet.

Where it stops working
It cannot tell you what is in a photo.
GuestPix stores what arrives and plays it back as a slideshow. Finding the one photo you are thinking of, out of hundreds, means scrolling until you see it. Ours describes every photo and video as it lands, so you type what you remember instead, and so can a guest on the night.
The clock starts on the event date, not when photos start arriving.
Classic gives you 3 months of uploads counted from your event date. Ours is 3 months too, but counted from the first photo, so buying early costs you nothing. Their Signature plan stretches the window to 12 months for $40 more, which we do not match.
Their guest cap is generous. Ours is a file cap.
GuestPix allows up to 1,000 guests. We do not count guests at all; anyone with the code can upload. What we count is files, up to 2,000 photos and videos on the pass, and past that a monthly plan takes over.
Which one you want
Cheaper and simpler: GuestPix. Findable a year later: us.
If $49 and a place to catch photos is all you need, GuestPix is a fair choice and you should not feel bad about picking it. If you want to search your wedding photos the way you would describe them to a friend instead of scrolling through all of them again next March, that is the difference the extra $30 buys.
