GuestCam alternative

Their AI finds a face. Ours finds the moment.

GuestCam is a well-built QR gallery, and it offers more galleries and a longer upload window than most of the field. It has also gone further into AI than anyone else here, with an add-on that matches a guest's face to the photos they appear in. That is a different job from describing what is happening in the shot.

Being fair about it

Their gallery count and upload window lead the field.

The $97 Premium plan gives six main galleries under one purchase, each with its own QR code, plus a 12-month upload window and 14 months of storage. If your wedding weekend has a rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and a Sunday brunch and you want them kept apart, that is one thing we do not offer. We give you one album per pass.

They already shipped an AI feature. Credit where it is due.

MagicFind is a $45 add-on: a face-search tool that finds the photos a guest appears in. That is a useful trick, and it is more AI than GuestPix, Wedibox, POV or Kululu have shipped. Both plans also include a live slideshow, which we do not have yet.

Where it stops working

Finding yourself is not the same as finding a moment.

MagicFind answers which of these photos you are in. It cannot answer find the one where the flower girl fell asleep during the toasts, because it was built to match faces, not describe scenes. Ours does the second one, on the guest page as well as yours, and it is included rather than a $45 add-on.

Their window is longer. Ours starts later.

Standard's 6 months beats our 3, and Premium's 12 beats it further. The difference is where the clock starts: ours opens when the first photo lands, which is usually the week of the wedding, so you can buy in January for an August wedding and lose nothing.

One album is a limitation next to their six galleries.

If your event is really three events back to back, Premium's six galleries for $97 is the better fit. We do not split a wedding weekend into separate albums today.

Which one you want

Splitting the weekend into galleries: GuestCam. Finding the moment: us.

If you are running several events under one wedding weekend and want each kept in its own gallery, GuestCam's Premium plan does that. If what you want is to type grandma dancing eight months later and have it show up, that is the thing we built, and nobody else here does it yet.
